Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. What DemandElf is โ and is not
DemandElf is a self-help document-generation tool. We are not a law firm, we are not lawyers, and we do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. No attorney-client relationship is created by using this service.
The documents you generate are templates assembled from information you provide. We do not review your information for accuracy or legal sufficiency, evaluate the merits of your claim, or advise you on whether, when, or how to pursue it. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information you enter.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing your document before signing or sending it, and for deciding whether to use it.
- You agree not to use the service to harass, threaten, or make demands you know to be false โ knowingly sending a false demand may itself carry legal consequences.
- You confirm you are at least 18 years old and using the service for your own lawful purposes.
3. No guarantee of outcome
We make no promise that any document will result in payment, settlement, or any particular legal outcome. Laws, deadlines, and court requirements vary by state and county and change over time. General statistics cited on our site describe civil litigation broadly and are not a prediction of your result.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Because documents are delivered instantly upon payment, all sales are generally final. That said, if your document failed to generate, was unusable, or you're otherwise unhappy, email support@demandelf.com within 14 days and we'll make it right โ including a full refund where appropriate.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DemandElf and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service or any generated document. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the document at issue.
6. Intellectual property
You own the documents you generate and may use them for your own dispute. The site, templates, and underlying software remain our property.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
