Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not store your case information. DemandElf has no user accounts and no database. The details you enter are used once to generate your letter, and your letter lives only in your own browser. When you close the tab, it's gone from everywhere except your downloaded PDF.

What happens to the information you enter

• Letter generation. Your form answers are sent to our server and passed to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to draft your letter. We do not save them to any database. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
• Your letter. The generated letter is stored only in your browser's session storage on your device — never on our servers.
• Payment. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• PDF files. Your PDFs are generated inside your own browser and downloaded directly to your device. They are never uploaded anywhere.

What we don't do

• No user accounts, no passwords, no profiles
• No database of your case details, names, or addresses
• No selling or sharing of your information with advertisers
• No marketing emails — we don't even ask for your email address

Standard technical data

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and payment processor (Stripe) keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and fraud prevention. These logs do not include the contents of your letter or your form answers.
